Things to avoid.

 

The most important thing on our minds is to ensure that everything you have ordered is delivered and set up ready for your guests arriving.

The pictures above and below show the Cumberland Suite at the Culloden Hotel when we arrived to supply chair covers at approximately 12 noon for a wedding the same day.

 

Our customer had informed the hotel that we would be coming anytime after 7.30am and we had also rang the night before to confirm that the room would be ready for us.

 

For obvious reasons, we need the room to be set up ready for our covers to be fitted and positioned at the table.

All chair covers and sashes are digitally recorded on delivery and collection and shortages must be paid for by the hirer.

 

The pictures below show how guests can innocently start playing with the sashes and then, if they forget to leave them at the end of the night, the bride and groom have to reimburse us for them.

 

We advise that guests are reminded by the best man that the covers and sashes are not to be removed.

We appreciate that you may think that this page is totally unnecessary, but we would rather warn you of possible problems before they have a chance to happen.

 

You will appreciate that every other hire company will have the same or similar policy as ourselves but may not be as open about it and that if something does delay them during setup or goes missing it can be distressing if they demand that you take time to sort it out on the most important day of your life.

 

This way you can you are forewarned and can plan ahead and make sure that nothing does happen.
